I am a fan of the canon, and i really hate ‘fandoms’ and ‘pairings’, personally i find it egotistical that people keep saying “i think i’m the only fan that-“, a high chance is that you aren’t the only one that thinks what to you do, if you must, say “i’m part of the minority that-“.
hence why it’s a spin-off, but just because it’s different, doesn’t mean that “it’s not a final fantasy”. Why isn’t it a ‘real final fantasy’? is it cause the game play is different? if it is just the game play, that’s quite a shallow reason to think it ‘isn’t final fantasy’.
Final Fantasy VII became so popular because it pushed the boundaries for RPGs at the time. It was the first 3D FF game, plus it’s been praised for it’s brilliant story and awesome music. It was just one of those things that at the time was the Singularity, and everything after that would be much different. Yes there are things that i personally don’t like about VII, but for me that’s the same for all FF’s, they all have pros and cons.

Lightning is 21, Hope is 14, no matter where you go that’s ILLEGAL. Celes is an adult, and can make adult decisions, Hope is still going through puberty.
